2026 Designation of Savings Excellence Recipients

This award is made annually to those financial institutions that go above and beyond to actively encourage members to save, increase savings, save automatically, and build wealth.

America Saves Week 2026: Recognizing Excellence in Savings Leadership

America Saves Week 2026 took place from April 6 to April 10, bringing together more than 5,300 individuals representing organizations across the country—including banks, credit unions, government agencies, nonprofits, schools, employers, and influencers. Together, we reached over 22.9 million individuals, making this our most impactful year yet.

During the week, an estimated $169 million was saved, and thousands of individuals took meaningful steps toward financial stability by opening new savings accounts, automating their savings, and making changes to their spending and saving habits.

Designation of Savings Excellence (DOSE) Award

This award is given annually to financial institutions that go above and beyond in promoting savings behavior during America Saves Week. Honorees are recognized for encouraging their customers and members to:

Open new savings accounts
Increase automatic deposits or transfers
Build emergency funds
Save for specific goals like homeownership, education, or retirement

These financial institutions serve as examples of how the banking industry can foster a culture of saving and contribute to financial well-being in their communities.
