Washington, D.C. — June 2026 — America Saves is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 America Saves Week Designation of Savings Excellence (DOSE) and Savings Champion Awards. These recognitions are awarded to financial institutions and organizations that went above and beyond in promoting savings habits and financial confidence in their communities during America Saves Week, held this year from April 6–10, 2026.
Now in its 19th year, America Saves Week continues to serve as a catalyst for individuals, families, and organizations across the country to take action toward their financial well-being. This year’s campaign reached more than 22.59 million individuals, inspired $169 million in reported savings, and brought together 5,300 individuals representing participating organizations, making it the most impactful America Saves Week to date.
“We are honored to celebrate these organizations for their leadership and commitment to helping people build stronger financial futures,” said Amy Miller, Director of America Saves. “The success of America Saves Week is made possible by partners who meet consumers where they are and provide practical opportunities to save, plan, and build financial confidence. “These organizations went beyond simply raising awareness; they empowered consumers to take action! Together, we are helping millions of Americans take small steps that lead to lasting financial progress.”
The Designation of Savings Excellence (DOSE) is awarded to banks and credit unions that successfully encouraged individuals to open or add to savings accounts during the campaign. The Savings Champion Award recognizes organizations and employers for creative and impactful programming that inspired financial action among their audiences.
In addition, Sunny Day Fund was selected as the sole recipient of the 2026 Community Impact Award, recognizing its deep and measurable investment in financial health initiatives throughout the year and especially during America Saves Week.
