About the Designation of Savings Excellence Award:
The America Saves Designation of Savings Excellence is an annual, industry respected award that recognizes financial institutions that implement strategies to actively promote saving during America Saves Week.
When individuals utilize savings accounts they are able to build financial security while financial institutions increase deposits, build goodwill, and strengthen customer service relationships. Since its inception in 2015 the Designation (DOSE) has recognized financial institutions that are committed to supporting the fundamental habit of saving in order to help more Americans have a healthy financial future.

Eligibility Requirements
All financial institutions that are signed up to participate in the current year of America Saves Week are eligible for the Designation and will be considered based on the information submitted in the America Saves Week Reporting Survey.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the number of customers who open new saving accounts and the total amount of money deposited into new and existing saving accounts.

About the Savings Champion Award:
Much like the Designation of Savings Excellence Award, the Savings Champion Award is an annual, industry-respected award that recognizes organizations who effectively and actively promote saving strategies during America Saves Week. Savings Champion award designees are comprised of organizations outside of financial institutions; such as nonprofit organizations, employers, and cooperative extensions, schools, universities, and more.
Designees are Recognized By:
- America Saves Saving Champion Award
- A digital seal to display on your website and share on social media
- Profiled on AmericaSaves.org and AmericaSavesWeek.org
- Recognition in a national press release
- Honored at the annual America Saves Summit
- Opportunity to collaborate on future projects with America Saves

The Community Impact Award:
The Community Impact Award recognizes those organizations that use the America Saves Pledge to promote setting a saving goal and making a plan to reach that goal. This award builds on the well-recognized concept that individuals with a saving plan are twice as likely to save successfully.
Designees are Recognized By:
- America Saves Community Impact Award
- A digital seal to display on your website and share on social media
- Recognition on AmericaSavesWeek.org
- Honored at the annual America Saves Summit
Eligibility Requirements
All organizations that are signed up to participate in the current year of America Saves Week are eligible for the Community Impact Award. Organizations must request and use an Embeddable America Saves Pledge and will be considered based on the total number of pledges taken by your audience members. This number will be automatically reported to America Saves.
