This award is made annually to those financial institutions that go above and beyond to actively encourage members to save, increase savings, save automatically, and build wealth.
This award is made annually to those financial institutions that go above and beyond to actively encourage members to save, increase savings, save automatically, and build wealth. Financial institutions play a pivotal role in motivating and providing a safe and appropriate opportunity to save. Your actions during America Saves Week and beyond provide a positive example of what financial institutions can do to support their customers in building emergency savings and a measure of financial stability.
Thanks to concentrated efforts from the award winners and the 3,900+ additional organizations who participated in the 2023 efforts to build financial confidence in local and national communities throughout the United States, America Saves saw funds of $788,712,651 deposited into new and existing savings and wealth-building accounts. In addition, 181,000 individuals reported taking financial steps like opening a savings account, automating their savings and increasing their savings amount during the week.
In 2024, America Saves plans to move America Saves Week from February to April to coincide with National Financial Capability Month. For updates and information on next year’s events, visit americasavesweek.org.
